Swissmetal Holding AG postpones its Annual General Meeting from Thursday 26 May 2011 to Tuesday 14 June 2011.

Swissmetal Holding AG is currently examining a range of financing options in addition to “sale and leaseback”, including corporate actions. The Annual General Meeting has been postponed to enable the company to keep all options open at the forthcoming Annual General Meeting and enable an item to be added to the meeting agenda. Under this new item, Swissmetal Holding AG will move to reduce its capital by means of par value reduction while increasing share capital by the same amount.

The names of those put forward for election by the Board of Directors will be announced in a press release in good time before the Annual General Meeting.

Entrance tickets issued for the Annual General Meeting planned for 26 May 2011 are invalid and cannot be used for this reconvened Annual General Meeting on 14 June. New entrance tickets have to be sourced.
