Martin Hellweg is Chairman of the Board of Directors.
Besides his activities at Swissmetal he works also as Chairman and Managing Partner of the Ally Management Group where he focuses primarily on restructuring situations, strategic repositionings as well as financial and transaction management. In this context, Martin Hellweg typically assumes an overall leadership role for a defined period of time, acts as a management coach or serves as a board member. As part of his activities, Martin Hellweg currently acts as Delegate of the Board of Directors of the Wetzel Processing Group, a globally leading company in the printing and embossing industry with its headquarter in Switzerland and operational activities in Germany and Poland.
Before his current appointment as Chairman of the Board of Directors of Swissmetal, he had already served as CEO and Delegate of the Board with the key task to refinance the company and carry out a comprehensive restructuring program. Among other prior engagements, Martin Hellweg also served as Member of the Executive Board of the Keramik Laufen Group, a Swiss-based, publicly-listed enterprise in the ceramics industry, where he successfully restructured his areas of responsibility, helped sell the company on behalf of the majority owner to the Roca Group and thus contributed to the formation of a leading global ceramics manufacturer.

During his professional career, Martin Hellweg furthermore worked as a management consultant as well as in several corporate finance functions. Martin Hellweg earned an MBA from the Simon Graduate School of Business of the University of Rochester, New York, where he currently serves as a member of the Alumni Advisory Board and teaches in the combined American-Swiss branch of the program, the Rochester-Bern Executive MBA Program. Martin Hellweg furthermore tought and teaches, respectively, for the Institute of Financial Management at the University of Bern and for the Institute of Management at the University of St. Gallen.
Besides his professional work, Martin Hellweg is a passionate musician.

  

 

 

 


 

Arturo Giovanoli is active as a specialist in M&A/Corporate Finance, corporate governance and business ethics, accounting & special audits issues and process analysis and reengineering.
In his previous professional career, Arturo Giovanoli was a senior M&A and transaction support consultant with one of the leading consulting firms in Switzerland for many years. At this firm, he was a member of the management committee and responsible for the financial services industry segment. Before he took this responsibility, he worked as an auditor with the same firm.
Arturo Giovanoli holds a diploma as a Swiss Chartered Accountant and is a member of the Swiss Chamber of Auditors.


 

  

Patrick Huber-Flotho is the delegate of the Board of Directors. 
He was also active for Swissmetal as interim Managing Director of a subsidiary, Busch-Jaeger. His task was the integration of the unit following its acquisition as well as the optimization of the liquidity and financing situation. He was furthermore in charge of the restructuring of the Group’s real estate portfolio.
Huber-Flotho is also a partner of the Ally Management Group where he is active in the area of strategic and operative restructuring of companies and large real estate portfolios. Typically, Patrick Huber-Flotho assumes an overall leadership role for a defined period of time.
In his earlier career, Patrick Huber-Flotho was also CEO of Forming AG, a manufacturer of cold-rolled profiles and slit strip for an extensive range of applications and with businesses present in Switzerland, France and Germany, as well as Head of Corporate Real Estate and Managing Director of several subsidiaries of the Keramik Laufen Group, a leading global ceramics manufacturer located in the Swiss canton of Baselland. Before this, Patrick Huber-Flotho was Head of Marketing and Leasing of an international real estate development company.
Patrick Huber-Flotho holds a degree in business administration from the European Business School, Oestrich-Winkel/Germany. Patrick Huber-Flotho was a guest teacher at the faculty of CUREM, Zurich, as well as the Technical University, Berlin.
